Water Wheels

The combination of the motion of a slowly rotating waterwheel and the sound of the cascading water creates a unique and very restful feature in a garden.

There are 3 main types of waterwheel based upon the height of the water source and the rate of flow of the water to drive the wheel. They can range in size from about 3 feet in diameter, to as large as 10 feet. Designs can either be standalone or incorporated into larger structures such as decking, or attached to a Summerhouse to create a form of watermill.
